Elsner Recently Shipped its' First Model GWR-760 High Speed Fully Automatic Wallcoverings Rewinder
Elsner recently shipped its' first Model GWR-760 high speed fully automatic Wallcoverings Rewinder with the Model OW-30-C Shrink Film Roll Overwrapper to a European customer.
The New GWR-760 incorporates features of the companies existing high speed Rewinders used for lighter weight papers and films with new, heavy duty rotary cut-off knife and rolling head systems to better handle the heavy wall-covering products. Built for the standard sidewall widths of 20.5" and 27' (500 and 762mm) and 33 foot (10 meter) long rolls at speeds up to 850 feet per minute (250 mpm) the machine can continually produce up to 25 rolls per minute with shrink film wrapping and automatic labeling. This speed capability more than doubles the previous offerings in the industry.
Introduction of this line further enhances Elsner's product offerings to the converting industry and more specifically, the wallcovering's industry. Elsner also makes a line of Wallpaper Border and Die Cutting Converting and Packaging Machinery.
Founded in 1934, Elsner Engineering Works, Inc designs and manufactures converting and packaging machinery. They will be celebrating their 75th anniversary as a family owned and operated business in 2009. Their line of over 50 different machines are used to convert and package such products as disposable disinfectant baby non-woven wipes, gift wrap paper, aluminum foil and wallpaper. Elsner currently services and supports over 2400 machines worldwide with equipment in service in over 50 countries. Besides their headquarters in Hanover, PA, they have a sales office in Bremen, Germany and offer field support from sites in Germany and Shanghai, China.
