Festo Corporation, a global leader in automation solutions, is pleased to announce the introduction of our new electro-mechanical ball screw-driven linear actuator SLME.
The SLME utilizes a fine pitch ball screw and recirculating ball bearing guide to achieve high accuracy and repeatability. The ball tracks of the SLME each have 4 contact points providing high dynamic load (up to 27kN) and moment (up to 1410 Nm) capacities. This allows the design to be smaller and more compact by eliminating separate guiding systems.
The SLME is an ideal linear actuator solution for such industries as semiconductor manufacturing, laboratory automation, and electronic component assembly. Typical applications include:
