Ametek Introduces the Jofra(TM) CTC 1200A - The Latest Addition to Its Family of Dry-Block Calibrators
CTC 1200A Offers Speed, Portability and Temperature Range Up to 1205°C
LARGO, FLORIDA -- AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments has added the JOFRA(TM) CTC 1200A to its family of fast, accurate dry-block calibrators. The JOFRA CTC 1200A boasts a calibrated temperature range of 300 to 1205°C / 572 to 2200°F and offers an accuracy of +/- 2.0°C /3.6°F. It heats up from room temperature to the maximum setting within 45 minutes.
The CTC 1200A offers the same look, feel and features found on other models in the CTC Series. All have rugged, slim-line aluminum outer casings with die-cast tops and bottoms. The six different models in the Series differ in temperature ranges and immersion depths. The CTC 1200A replaces the CTC 1200SE and completes an entire updating of the entire JOFRA dry-block calibrator line.
These fast, time saving and reliable true temperature calibrators are designed for both on-site and maintenance shop use. Their speed and portability make them superior to liquid baths. The easy-to-use calibrators are ideal for high-temperature applications, such as thermocouples, thermoswitches, thermistors and other common temperature-sensing devices.
The CTC 1200A's user interface is easy and intuitive. One-key-one function operation provides users quick access to timesaving features such as the switch test or auto-stepping function. All CTC Series models feature a large backlit, easy-to-read LCD display panel that provides icons and information on the status of the CTC and calibration in progress.
The CTC 1200A contains a uniquely designed well with an internal sensor placed in specially drilled inserts and a non-linear heating element. Together with the Mains power Variance Immunity (MVI) circuitry, the CTC 1200A's design ensures high accuracy and excellent stability when calibrating different sizes of sensors without the use of an external reference sensor.
The CTC 1200A offers an immersion depth of 110mm / 4.3 inches for calibrating sensors up to a diameter of 12 mm / ½ inch. In addition, it is the smallest dry-block calibrator in its class, making it easy to use either in the shop or on the factory floor.
All JOFRA CTC Series temperature calibrators are supplied with RS232 computer interface and AMECAL-LIGHT calibration software. The WINDOWS®-based software doesn't require a programmer to configure calibration procedures and allows users to customize their calibration routines.
