Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, introduces CellMite Model 4326A Digital Signal Conditioner board with TEDS-Tag Auto ID. This small board can be built into a load cell, extensometer, or pressure sensor. The TEDS-Tag Auto-ID's integrated electronic tags allow the CellMite to automatically select the correct sensor calibration and analog output scaling for the connected transducer.

CellMite simultaneously generates a serial output for connection to a PC as well as a +/-10V analog output. CellMite is highly accurate with 24-bit internal resolution. CellMite offers internal temperature compensation. The sample rate is 60 samples/sec. Functions include tare, peak and valley. Units include Lb., Kg., In., and Cm.

The CellMite multi-drop RS232 serial port, unit addressing capabilities, and simple command set allow for connection of multiple units in a serial network configuration. The CellMite features a nonvolatile memory for parameter and calibration storage and the ability to select between three transducer calibrations. CellMite offers multi-point and mV/V calibration and remote sense excitation. Optional CellView Lite software guides the user through all phases of setup and sensor calibration. Tests can be setup to start and stop automatically. Data can be saved to spreadsheets.
