A new, high-speed end-of-line crankshaft gage that measures the ever tighter tolerances necessitated by developing greener technology engines has been introduced by ADCOLE Corporation of Marlborough, Massachusetts.
The Adcole Model 1300 High-Speed Crankshaft Gage permits horizontal axis to facilitate automatic loading and features <1 min. cycle times with sub-micron accuracy for 3 micron roundness tolerances to provide QS 9000 and Q1 quality verifications. Allowing statistical production control of journal grinders for diameter, roundness, 3rd harmonic analysis, cylindricity, straightness, stroke
and index, this gage assures 100% inspection of critical tolerances.
