Transducers Auto-Calibrate to Digital Indicator
The new internal Signature Module communicator for pressure transducers, load cells, and torque sensors allows auto-calibration with Sensotec's Model SC digital indicator.
Calibration information is stored in the sensor, including the serial number, full scale range, units of measure, decimal point and last calibration date. Upon power-up or command, the Model SC interrogates the SigMod in the sensor and automatically sets the zero and span of the amplifier.
Sensor calibration information may be stored as known full scale sensitivity or as calibration data points to linearize the sensor. Large .32" (8mm) alphanumeric characters are bright and easy-to-read, and the split screen option allows data from up to four transducers to be viewed at the same time.
Plug-in cards include signal conditioning for strain gage transducers, LVDTs, or other transducers with ±5 volt, ±10 volt or 4-20 mA outputs. Up to 8 virtual channels are available to evaluate special mathematical and logical functions. The SC2000 includes 4 limits (alarm) outputs as well as peak and valley detection. Prices start at $1175 for a single channel unit.
