Universal Chlorination and De-Chlorination Controller Offers Accurate Control in Water and Wastewater Applications

NORTH HILLS, CALIF.- Moore Industries' ¼ DIN 555 Controller sets up easily to handle flow proportional control, residual control, compound loop control with lag times, and de-chlorination with sulfur dioxide.

Designed with the needs of the water and wastewater industry in mind, the 555 offers a cost-effective solution for chlorination and de-chlorination processes. The front panel is NEMA 4X rated for protection from water and corrosion. All menu prompts are provided in plain English and set with large, back-lit keys.

The 555's large, alphanumeric display is readable in all light conditions. When performing compound loop flow pacing control, the unit clearly displays flow rate and residual chlorine simultaneously.

The 555 features isolated 4-20mA or 0-20mA outputs for control or retransmission to an analog control system. Alarm trip outputs are available for flow rate, chlorine residual, dosage setting, residual set point, rate-of-change, deviation, high/low vacuum and other conditions.

Available 555 models provide RS-485 communications for interfacing with digital DCS, PLC and PC-based SCADA systems.
