Check Valve stops impure back flow.

Press Release Summary:

Non-metallic, self-sealing Bio-Chek(TM) in-line check valve has inert flow path, making it suitable for stopping back flow in high purity, low pressure fluid transfer applications. Valve's smooth flow path minimizes shear and turbulence, and provides flow rate equivalent to 0.030 in. orifices. Cracking pressure is less than 3.5 psi. Valve checks against backflow pressures to 100 psi, and is available in EPDM, Viton, Chemraz®, PEEK and PPS materials.

Self-Sealing, Bio-Chek(TM) In-Line Check Valve Eliminates Contamination By Preventing Unintended Liquid Back-Flow

Boonton, NJ: New non-metallic, self-sealing, Bio-Chek in-line check valves designed and manufactured by Bio-Chem Valve, Inc., feature an inert flow path. The economical, zero-maintenance check valves stop back-flow in high purity, low pressure fluid transfer applications.

Unlike spring-actuated check valves that can restrict or impede the flow path, causing content (product) damage; the Bio-Chek in-line check valve design features a less tortuous, smooth flow path that minimizes shear and turbulence. The Bio-Chek valve provides a flow rate equivalent to a .030" orifice, a cracking pressure less than 3.5 psi, and checks against backflow pressure to 100 psi.

Available in an inlet or outlet configuration, application uses include syringe pump systems, vacuum systems and other low-flow processes.

Bio-Chem Valve Inc. accommodates the chemical compatibility needs of OEM's by offering a variety of check element materials including EPDM, Viton, and Chemraz®. PEEK and PPS are offered as housing materials. The Bio-Chek in-line check valves connect to standard 1/4-28 ports and fittings.
