Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 7348 Tri-Channel RJ45 Cat5 A/B Switch with Local and Remote Control. This network switch connects a device between 2 other devices or networks for each of the switch's three channels.

The sleek, rackmount, Model 7348 can be controlled manually via front panel pushbuttons or remotely from an RS232 serial port. Each channel of the unit is an individual switch that is independently controlled, maintaining last set position even in the event of power loss, while continuing to pass data.
