Edmund Industrial Optics Announces Multi-Function Calibration Targets for High Magnification

November 18, 2003, Barrington, NJ - Edmund Industrial Optics (EO) of Barrington, NJ announces the release of Multi-Function Calibration Targets.

Designed for microscopes and machine vision systems, these "all-in-one" targets measure many different imaging system parameters without the need for separate calibration targets. Available in Low Magnification (for 4X-20X objectives) and High Magnification (for 20X-100X objectives) models, this calibration tool is the first one of its kind to measure resolution, distortion, and depth of field (DOF) of microscope objectives. Mitutoyo objectives, Zeiss microscopes, and high-magnification video lenses can be easily tested and calibrated using the ronchi rulings, concentric circles, square grids and microscale that is provided on each model. Quick reference card, manual (on CD) and N.I.S.T. certificate are also provided.
