MONROVIA, Calif., May 9, 2003-Eubanks Engineering Co. today announced that its popular workhorse Model 4600 Flat Cable and Tubing Cutter has been redesigned to further lower operating costs and improve reliability, precision, and ease of use.
Built to automatically cut flat cable, plastic tubing, wire, tape, and other linear material to preset lengths, the new enhanced Model 4600-03 includes a new quick-release wire-loading mechanism that reduces set-up time and new cutter mechanics designed to extend blade life.
The new Model 4600-03 is more compact weighing only 85 lbs. and contains 30 percent fewer parts for improved reliability and fast repair. Fully CE-compliant, the new Model 4600-03 converts quickly from 110 to 230V operation and from inch to metric measurement.
Being microprocessor-controlled, users can program both cut lengths and batch quantities by simple keyboard input. Cutting lengths can be set from .020 to 999.99 in. (1 to 99,999mm) with a batch capacity from 1 to 99,999 pieces. Four-inch pieces can be automatically cut at rates over 10,000 per hour.
