Anoka, MN-August 19, 2002-Hoffman telephone cabinets feature a wood back panel and come in a wide range of sizes. Designed to house electrical controls and instruments, telephone cabinets can also be applied as a wiring box, junction box, pull box, or telephone and communication cable termination. The cabinets are available with a surface or flush cover and feature removable trim, enabling use in either surface or flush installations. A continuous hinge holds the cabinet door open up to 180° for effortless maintenance access. The cabinets, made of galvanized steel, are rated UL, NEMA and CUL Type 1 and feature a pre-mounted wood back panel for mounting and re-mounting of telephone and communication cable termination equipment. A lockable three-point latch handle is available for cabinets 37" and over. Cabinets 36" and smaller feature a flush-locking latch system.
