ERNI introduces Busable Enclosures for DIN-Rails
Moraga, CA - May 27, 2003 - The ERNI Group of Companies introduces a new series of fully insulated enclosures for various applications in industrial and automation industries. The LDG-S series is designed with an integrated snap-on clip for easy snap-on assembly onto DIN-rails (EN 50 022). The compact design allows economical space saving device assembly. To allow termination of the cable conductors, two enclosure versions are available: pluggable terminals for easy exchange and screw terminals for a fixed termination of the conductors.
The LDG-S features a special version to realize bus applications with maximum four signal and two power contacts (optional as signals). The LDG-S enclosures provide a base part with integrated ventilation slot for effective heat dissipation. Closed versions without ventilation slot are available upon request. The enclosures are available with installation widths on 22.5 mm and 45 mm. A grounding option from the PCB to the DIN-rails is in preparation. Customized colours are available upon request.
