Dynabrade, Inc. Offers 3 Inch Diameter Dynabuffer to Compliment Two-Step Polishing Program
A new 3" diameter air-powered Dynabuffer (Model 57126) is now offered by Dynabrade, Inc. This smaller diameter tool complements the 5" diameter buffer already offered by the company (Model 57240). The 3" diameter tool is ideal for use in areas where a smaller diameter buffing application is desired. Additionally, the lightweight size of this tool also makes it beneficial for vertical buffing applications.
The buffer features a 14 mm diameter offset orbit and has a rear exhaust muffler for reduced noise levels in the workplace. The tools runs at 10,000 RPM, but slows to 7,000 RPM when running under load. As with many Dynabrade tools, the housing includes a rubber over mold that reduces tool vibration and cold air transmission to the operator.
When used in conjunction with Dynabrade's Palm-Style Mini-Dynorbital Sander (Model 57502), the process eliminates compound slinging, swirl marks, hazing and scratches on paint and clear coat. The first step is to sand out the defect using Dynabrade's Mini-Dynorbital Random Orbital Sander (Model 57502), after-which the Dynabuffer can be used to remove the scratch and polish the area.
A convenient hanger bracket is also included; ideal for storing the tool when not in use. The tool also includes a safety-lock lever, which prevents accidental start-up. An optional side handle is available for two-hand operation of the tool. Made in the U.S.A.
