Model 7209 BNC A/B Switch Utilizes Serial RS422 ASCII Commands for Remote Control



Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces the new Model 7209 BNC A/B Switch with Remote, which allows access to two separate BNC ports via the Common port. This versatile network switch can be controlled manually with a front panel pushbutton or remotely using ASCII commands via an RS-422 Serial port.

This dependable AB switch maintains last set position on power loss and continues to pass data while providing EMI/RFI shielding with its rugged aluminum enclosure.
Model 7209 BNC switch also features three isolated BNC port connectors on rear panel and switch ports are transparent to all data.

Custom length RG-58 and Thinnet RG-58 coaxial cables are also available.
