A new angle in aggressive belt cleaning

Billing it as the belt cleaner to use if you are using only one, Martin Engineering (Neponset, Illinois) has introduced the BULL DAWG(TM) Belt Cleaner to supply aggressive belt cleaning without risk to belt or splice. The patent-pending MARTIN® BULL DAWG(TM) Belt Cleaner uses tungsten carbide cleaning elements cushioned with a unique internal elastomer pillow to safely remove carryback and return it to the material stream.

Designed for installation at the "five o'clock position" against the head pulley, the MARTIN® BULL DAWG(TM) Belt Cleaner represents a new angle in belt cleaning technology. It can be used as a stand-alone cleaner, or installed as a pre-cleaner or secondary cleaner as part of a complete multiple cleaner system.

Each arm-and-blade cleaning element is individually cushioned with MARTIN® SHOCK BLOK(TM) Shock Absorbers. Positioned inside the cleaner's mainframe, these pillows cushion each arm-and-blade unit separately, allowing splice passage and momentary conveyor reversal without damage.
