New TNW-4500R Lathe from FUJI is for High Mix and High Volume Production
Vernon Hills, IL - (August 24, 2006) Perfect for Contract Manufacturing and OEMs, the new TNW-4500R automated lathe from Fuji offers easy change over, while providing turning, drilling and milling operations - all in one machine.
A best seller in Japan, the TNW-4500R is available for the first time in the U.S.
Twin spindles, a robot, a slant bed and a gantry loader are among the features of the TNW-4500R. A live tool turret performs secondary operations; live tool motor power is 7.5/10hp. For built-in automation, the TNW4500R features a FUJI 2-axis rack and pinion swing arm robot with a 44 lb. capacity, and dual 12 Tool Turrets.
The TNW4500R's A2-8 spindle turns with a 25/30 hp spindle motor and operates at a maximum of 2,910 rpm.
A work stocker (10 stations), chip conveyor and a set of turret holders are included as standard. For user-friendly operation, the TNW-4500R includes the new Fanuc 310i-A CNC Control. The TNW4500R is easy to set up, too - go from uncrating to production in no time.
An Intelligent Load Monitor is included as standard. Suitable for any application, this highly reliable monitor detects insert wear and breakage. No additional sensors are required. The monitor is conveniently programmable by touch screen.
The work size of the TNW4500R is 300mm (12") x 120mm (5").
