Permabond Launches New UV-Curable Adhesive Product Line

SOMERSET, NJ - Permabond is pleased to announce the launch of their new range of UV-curable adhesives. This product line offers rapid cure times and adhesion to a wide variety of substrates providing a simple, fast, and cost effective bonding solution.

UV-curable adhesives are single part and cure within seconds of exposure to ultra-violet light. This allows for accurate alignment of components as the adhesives do not cure until exposed to the UV light. Once exposed to the UV light, cure is virtually instant. This provides the user considerable savings in production time and increased throughput.

Permabond's new UV-curable adhesives can be used on a wide variety of applications from bonding glass furniture and cabinets to tiny electrical components on a high-speed production line.

The products have been especially developed to provide maximum optical clarity and are non-yellowing, so they will give a perfect aesthetic finish. They are also available in a wide range of viscosities to suit the gap fill requirements of the joint. The adhesives are high-strength and exhibit excellent durability. A flexible, shock and impact resistant grade is also available which is suitable for applications where differential thermal expansion would be an issue.
