New Rugged DB9 A/B Switch Takes the Heat and the Cold



Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 8100 DB9 Interface A/B Data Switch designed to withstand the extreme temperature range of -17° Celsius to +75° Celsius (1.4° F to 167° F). This rugged switch has an all-aluminum enclosure to add durability and to provide superior shielding. This high-quality switch has self-wiping contacts. This switch is simply operated by a front panel knob.

The Model 8100 has DB9 Female connectors on the A and COM rear-panel ports and one DB9 Female connector on the B front-panel port. Rubber feet prevent sliding. Mounting ears are available to adapt the Model 8100 to a panel. No external power is required.
