Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new PathWay Model 7207 DB-9 A/B/C/D Switch. This compact, desktop, network switch enables connection of a workstation or device between 4 other devices or networks. The switch ports are transparent to data format.

This data switch uses a DB-9 Interface for remote control, accepting RS232 serial data ASCII commands. The Model 7207 is unique because there is no local or front panel switch control, which makes it ideal for "remote control only" applications.
