The SAFE L.2 series of safety relays from RIESE Electronic are specifically designed for use as emergency stop relays for safety light curtain and light barrier applications. Upon interruption of a light beam an emergency stop is generated. The restart process can than be activated either by way of an external bridge or by engaging a special mode that allows the SAFE L.2 to automatically restart. The SAFE L.2 offers 3 normally open safety outputs, displays operation status via LED's and meets all requirements up to and including Risk Category 4 all in a durable, compact 22.5 mm Phoenix ME-housing.
