SCHURTER Inc Moves up The Ranks in The North Bay Business Journal’s Top 500 Companies
Santa Rosa, California, September 14 th, 2023 - The North Bay Business Journal has announced the top-ranking businesses of the Northern Bay Area, tri-county area, and SCHURTER Inc. is pleased to move up the ranks to #150, +20 positions from last year’s ranking at #170. This is after already scaling +38 positions in 2021 from #208 in 2020. The rankings are determined based on several criteria including location and revenue.
Nestled just above California’s tech hub of Silicon Valley, the North Bay is not only renowned for its existential wine region but also its diverse business landscape. The Top 500 companies that have made this year’s list range in annual revenue from US$ 2 M to US$ 5.4 B, casting SCHURTER in good company with the likes of global technology companies Keysight Technologies, Autodesk, Inc, and Medtronic.
SCHURTER Inc. achieved record sales gains in 2022 with a growth rate of nearly 40% to $43.6 million. The company experienced its best revenue-producing year in its 40 years in business in Sonoma County. Well-laid cornerstones with an expansive electronic component portfolio across multiple industries led to growth consistent with the technology industry in general. An easing of supply chain constraints and raw material shortages also allowed for “catch up” and fulfillment of backlog accumulated following the unprecedented post pandemic surge in demand.
