The PEMSERTER® Series 4® manual press can install significant volumes of self-clinching fasteners quickly and reliably in applications where automated systems would be impractical. Ideal for short production runs, this press is highly engineered with features promoting optimized performance, productivity, and safety.
The Series 4 press uses pneumatic power to deliver speed, consistency, and simple operation with only shop air required; an 18"/45.7 cm throat depth provides clearance for a wide variety of chassis configurations; rapid tooling changeover capabilities save time during production; and an integral "point-of-operation" safety contributes to operator confidence and overall system integrity.
The press can permanently install self-clinching nuts, studs, and standoffs in steel (fastener sizes up to 3/8" and M2 through M10) and in aluminum panels or circuit boards (fastener sizes up to 1/2" and M12). The insertion force is adjustable from 400 lbs./1.8 kN to 6 tons/53.4 kN to satisfy virtually any application demand.
Available press options include turret anvils and anvil holders for difficult installations. Users can further take advantage of the PEMSERTER Series 4 rebuild program for existing presses as a cost-effective method to enhance and extend operational life.
