Horizon Wimba Announces Alliance With ANGEL Learning
NEW YORK, June 6 / -- Horizon Wimba, a provider of collaborative software applications for online education, announced today a partnership with ANGEL Learning, a recognized innovator of enterprise e-learning software and services.
The initial result of this partnership will be the integration of Horizon Wimba's Live Classroom with ANGEL LMS7 which will be released in Beta later this summer. Via the integration, ANGEL customers will be able to access, manage, and use Live Classroom without ever leaving the ANGEL environment. Additionally, integration with Horizon Wimba's Voice Tools will be released shortly.
After creating the education industry's leading integrations with the Blackboard and WebCT course management systems, Horizon Wimba has responded to the needs of ANGEL's rapidly growing customer base by enabling its users to access collaborative products for online education more easily. ANGEL users will be able to access Horizon Wimba's collaborative applications from within ANGEL while faculty can manage and configure Horizon Wimba tools inside the ANGEL environment as well.
These new product integrations enable ANGEL instructors with an easy and efficient means of adding a human, personal touch to their online courses because they'll never have to leave the ANGEL environment to create, configure, or use Horizon Wimba's Live Classroom or Wimba Voice Tools.
