Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies Congratulates Hyundai, Genesis and Ram Trucks on 2019 NACTOY Wins

Plymouth, Mich., Jan. 14, 2019 – Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is proud to support the winning Genesis G70, Hyundai Kona/Kona EV and Ram 1500 – respectively named the 2019 North America Car, Utility Vehicle and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) winners – with a variety of engineered sealing components. The winners were announced at the North America International Auto Show in Detroit this morning. Freudenberg-NOK runs the business operations for Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in the Americas.

Now in their 25th year, the NACTOY Awards recognize the most outstanding new vehicles of the year. Chosen by a panel of 54 respected jurors from print, online, radio and broadcast media across the U.S. and Canada – rather than a single publication or media outlet – the awards are among the most prestigious and unique in the industry. Jurors voted on the finalists based on segment leadership, innovation, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for the dollar. The process began in June 2018 by determining vehicle eligibility and included three rounds of voting.

Freudenberg-NOK, a global supplier of seals and gaskets for the automotive and other industries, provides all three vehicles with content.
