Freudenberg-NOK Announces Supplier Excellence Achievement Award Winners

PLYMOUTH, Mich., Aug. 20, 2018. Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies (Freudenberg-NOK) celebrated the winners of its 2017 Supplier Excellence Achievement Level (SEAL) Awards this week. Freudenberg-NOK runs the business operations for Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in the Americas and is a leading global specialist in sealing applications across multiple industries.

Now in its 11th year, Freudenberg-NOK’s SEAL Awards recognize raw material and metal fabrication partners who have consistently maintained excellent standards in areas like quality, delivery, cost management, technology and customer service. This year, the company also included a SEAL Award for excellent customer service. That honor went to Solvay Specialty Polymers USA, LLC., (West Deptford, NJ) and Solvay employee Joe Martin (Executive Account Manager).

SEAL Awards for raw material and metal fabrication partners are presented at three levels of recognition – Gold, Silver and Bronze – to its top-performing suppliers.

Metal and metal fabrication suppliers who were recognized include:

Gold: Combined Metals of Chicago / Elgiloy Specialty Metals (Belwood, Ill., Elgin, Ill., Hampshire, Ill.)

Silver: Trimline Division of Varbros, LLC (LaGrange, Ohio)

Bronze: Production Tube Cutting (Dayton, Ohio)

Chemical raw material suppliers who were honored with a 2017 SEAL Award include:

Gold: The Chemours Company FC, LLC. (Wilmington, Del.)

Silver: Gujarat Fluorochemicals (Rockdale, Texas)

Bronze: Accudyn Products, Inc. (Erie, Pa.)
