May 6, 2008

San Luis Obispo, CA - Crystal Engineering Corporation, a leading pressure instrumentation company, announces that it has been awarded DNV (Det Norske Veritas) certification for classification of ships, high speed & light craft and DNV's offshore standards. This classification certifies all materials, components and systems relevant to the safe operation and quality of ships.

DNV Type Approval requires the verification of a set of requirements during the design, construction, and operation of devices used on ships and offshore units. "As one of the world's leading global classification societies, DNV certification recognizes Crystal Engineering's products as fit for use in marine environment and our commitment to continually deliver reliable, high quality products," says Tom Halaczkiewicz, President of Crystal Engineering.
