BLM Group USA Appoints New President and Chief Operating Officer
Wixom, MI—BLM GROUP USA (www.blmgroup.com)Â a global leader in the manufacture of tube processing equipment, has announced the appointment of Jeff Ahrstrom as President and Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made by Jim Rutt, retiring President and Chief Operating Officer.
According to Rutt, “The appointment of a new president and COO was part of our overall corporate organizational plan established in July 2014. The announcement of Jeff fulfills one area of that plan. Jeff will be a valuable asset to our organization and more particularly a valuable asset to our customers.”
Ahrstrom added, “BLM GROUP USA is a leader in its field and I welcome the opportunity to take the company forward and continue the growth realized under Jim’s tutelage.”
Ahrstrom comes to BLM GROUP USA with over 30 years experience in positions of within the machine tool industry. He was most recently Managing Director, Central Region with Ellison Technologies. Prior to that he held a variety of positions with Fives Machining Systems. Ahrstrom has a BS in Business Administration, an MBA and shortly will achieve a Doctorate in Business Administration.Â
