ACE Production Technologies Acquires Drop-Jet Fluxing Technology

Spokane Valley, Washington, USA, June 4, 2007 - ACE Production Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of selective soldering systems for electronics assembly, announces the acquisition of all of the Drop-Jet Spray Head technology and Spray Head related products from Castle Controls & Automation, LLC. The purchase and sale agreement was announced recently by Alan Cable, President of ACE Production Technologies of Spokane Valley, Washington and by John Radtke, President of Castle Controls and Automation, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Castle Controls & Automation, LLC has been a provider of turnkey automation solutions since 1978, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic disciplines, motion control and vision system applications.

Our newly acquired Drop-Jet spray head technology is unique in its serviceable design and choice of materials Al Cable stated. This design has proven to be A.C.E. New Drop-Jet fluxer nozzle (Right) and standard nozzle (Left) compatible with all liquid fluxes, unlike other, less serviceable products. ACE will immediately offer the Drop-Jet flux head as an option on its selective soldering products and will announce stand-alone and in-line fluxing products in the coming months.

Mr. Radtke will accept a position on the ACE engineering team where his 25+ years of controls and automation design experience will enhance ACE's strong and growing position in the Selective Soldering marketplace. ACE Production Technologies is a designer and builder of simple, affordable selective soldering systems suitable for lead-free electronics assembly. ACE's line of rugged, reliable, compact systems includes the KISS 101, KISS-102, KISS-103, and the KISS-104 Selective Soldering systems. All of these flexible systems feature lead-free compatible solder pots and are ideal for low to medium volume assembly, prototyping, and rework, post-reflow offline assembly, and other soldering applications such as odd-form devices.
