Dale F. Bohn, product quality manager for Flint Hills Resources LP, has begun his term as 2018 chairman of the ASTM International board of directors. Bohn has been a board member since 2012. ASTM International has announced scholarship to students for doctoral studies in fields that require technical standards. Each student is awarded $10,000. The awardees include Patrick McDavid (Michigan State University), Kien Nguyen (University of Kansas), Rakish Shrestha (Auburn University) and Aref Yodallahi (Mississippi State University).
