Digitizing time is rated at 13 milliseconds, permitting full inspections of up to 7,000 parts per minute. No separate PC or frame-grabber board is required; all hardware is integrated into 1.5 in. thick by 4 in. tall housing. Legend 540 reads linear and 2-D barcode, and also performs OCR.
