Jun 24, 2009 Designed to fire porcelain, stoneware, china, ceramics, and decals, Caldera XL and Caldera XL-KS pottery kilns are 7½ in. square x 9 in. deep inside and made with 3 in. thick insulating firebricks. Caldera XL comes with digital temperature controller, while switch-operated Caldera XL-KS features Autocone Kiln Sitter. Kilns were designed for testing glazes and glaze application ideas before running production quantities in larger kiln.

After kiln is removed from microwave, glass takes about one hour to cool to room temperature. Unit comes with 6½ in. ceramic posts, glass separator, and 15-page instruction manual.
