Designed to measure viscosity of oil drilling and fracturing fluids at atmospheric pressure in both field and laboratory settings, Model BF35 comes complete with set of 4 spindles and F1.0 spring torque. Sample is placed in cup and spindle/chamber combination is then immersed into sample. When motor is turned on, chamber rotates while spindle remains stationary. When dial reading becomes stable, torque reading is recorded and manually converted into viscosity value in centipoise. Polycarbonate models have 29 L rectangular reservoir with working depth of 11.25 in., square or round viscometer openings, and max working temperature of 85°C. Glass versions, providing working temperature of 135°C, are available with 17 or 27 L round reservoirs, with working depths of 11 and 17 in., respectively.
