Optical Dome protects sensors and detectors.Meller Optics, Inc.
Providence, RI 02940
Nov 06, 2003 Optical dome protects from sand, water, and harsh chemicals. Featuring 2000 Knoop hardness, scratch-resistant dome exhibits <25 µm wall thickness variation, <1 fringe/in. surface accuracy measured at 633 nm, and surface finishes to 20-10 scratch-dig per MIL-PRF-13830. Dome can transmit from UV to IR, providing 85% transmission when uncoated and 99% transmission with anti-reflective coatings on 2 sides. Sizes up to 6 in. dia can be fabricated. |

Balanced Optical Receiver suits LIDAR applications.Discovery Semiconductors
Cranbury, NJ 08512
Aug 27, 2002 Suitable for eye safe free space applications, Model R205M operates at 150 MHz with peak gain of 20 dB. Offered in compact hermetic package, balanced receiver option consists of matched InGaAs/InP photodiodes and low noise amplifier. When used in coherent-lightwave link designs, receiver eliminates laser relative intensity noise (RIN). It comes with choice of optical input connector and type K or dual GPPO/SMMP coaxial RF output. |
Tiny Optical Receiver fits into transponders.Discovery Semiconductors
Cranbury, NJ 08512
Apr 22, 2002 Small form factor optical receiver in coplanar package for 10 and 40 Gb/sec applications is only 1/10th size of standard coplanar package, making it suitable for applications where space is limited, such as transponders. It comes with choice of optical input connector and coplanar G-S-G-S-G pattern configuration for signal outputs.
