May 17, 2011 Supplied with 5 self-locking balancing set screws, Stafford TrueBalance(TM) shaft collars have ability to offset out-of-balance vibrating shafts without disassembling system. Set screws are adjusted to offset weight imbalance until satisfactory balance and smooth operation is achieved. Machined from steel, devices come in 3/4 to 6 in. ID sizes and can be customized as specials up to 12 in. ID. Customizable version of stainless steel are also available.

Available in 1-piece, 2-piece, and hinged-collar styles, products are machined from steel, 303 stainless steel, and aluminum. Collars, offered in standard inch/metric sizes from 1/8–10 in. ID and 3.175–254 mm, may also be constructed from 316 stainless steel, brass, bronze, and exotic alloys.
