Bimba High Load Ultran(R) Slide
December 7, 2001, Monee, Illinois - Bimba is pleased to introduce its High Load Ultran(R) Slide now available in 1-1/16" bore. The High Load Utran Slide provides high load carrying capabilities within an Ultran Slide rodless cylinder. It incorporates a ball bearing system offering large load bearing capabilities with greater carriage precision.
The rare earth magnet configuration for high magnetic coupling strengths allow the High Load Ultran Slide to move larger loads at higher speeds, and provides an added level of safety. It's prelubricated for miles of maintenance-free travel and provides leak-free construction. Transition Plates may be used to couple Ultran rodless cylinders to Linear Thrusters to create multi-axis configurations.
The High Load Ultran Slide is also available in two other bore sizes, 1-1/4" and 1-1/2", with a wide range of stroke lengths. Standard catalog options include stroke adjustment, bumpers, seals for low-pressure hydraulic service, and position sensing with Hall effect and magnetic reed switches.
