BetaGauge 311/321 Advanced Pressure Calibrators
In our on-going effort to make good things better, Martel Electronics Corporation announces the release of the next generation of the BetaGauge 311/321 advanced pressure calibrators, the BetaGauge 311A single sensor and BetaGauge 321A dual sensor versions. The new calibrators were shown at ISA Expo 2009 in Houston.
For nearly five years, the BetaGauge 321 has been the replacement for the venerable BetaGauge 320, which set the standard for portable process pressure calibrators in the 1990s. Since its launch in 2004, the 321 and its single sensor companion the 311, have taken their place as industry standards in their own right...until now. This significant update adds new features, performance and durability while maintaining ease of use and compact size.

o New hardware features including an internal HART(TM) resistor and secure off keypad

Users of the current generation BetaGauge 311/321 will be at home with the new 311A/321A. The new versions retain the large graphic display and intuitive user interface along with all the additional functions such as RTD input, external pressure module interface, mA/Volts measurement and an integral 24 VDC instrument loop power supply.
A general accuracy of ±0.025% of full scale over a wide range of ambient conditions insures that the BetaGauge 311A/321A will be the choice for even the most demanding field calibration uses.
Popular applications for these high performance calibrators include natural gas flow computer calibration, multi-variable transmitter calibration, calibration of all types of process pressure, flow and level transmitters that use pressure inferred measurement techniques. The calibrators also offer special features for the testing of pressure switches commonly used in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and other process control and monitoring applications.
The single sensor BetaGauge 311A and dual sensor BetaGauge 321A will be available beginning October 1, 2009.
