RACO Introduces Grand Slam Box
RACO has introduced the Grand Slam Box. The new product series offers flexibility, space and labor savings when distributing MC branch circuits from home run conductors. RACO, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to industrial, commercial and residential markets.
Just as in baseball, hitting a home run is special, but hitting a grand slam is spectacular. The Grand Slam Box features RACO's patented STAB-IT® cable clamps, which test at over 3x faster than traditional MC connectors. These clamps handle flex, MC, MCI, MCI-A, HCF and AC cables. Specifically designed for commercial applications, RACO's new product provides electrical contractors an effective way to reduce installation time.
Grand Slam series enclosures are available with or without concentric knockouts on the sides and back. Each unit ships with a surface mount cover, and a ground bar for quicker termination of grounds. The UL Listed junction box is available in two sizes, 8"x8"x3" or 12"x12"x4" and include STAB-IT clamps for 8 or 12 cables respectively.
