Original Press Release:

Molded SMD Wire Wound Ferrite Chip Inductors Replace Axial Leaded Inductors For Mid To Low Frequency Signal Devices

Simi Valley, CA. November 8, 2001- Frontier Electronics now provides a new solution to an old problem; SMD Molded Wire Wound Ferrite Chip Inductors in place of the very popular axial leaded inductors for low to mid frequency signal devices such as computers and communications products.

Frontier's model CF453232 (1812-dimensions are 4.5mm x 3.2mm x 3.2mm) and the model CF322522 (1210- dimensions are 3.2mm x 2.5mm x 2.2mm) with tape and reel packaging are ideal for pick and place equipment.

The 1812 has an inductance range of 0.1 µH to 1000 µH, usable frequency is 2.5 MHz to 300 MHz. Inductance range of the 1210 is 0.12 µH to 220 µH. Usable frequency is 7MHz to 500 MHz.
