Netlist Launches Industrial Grade CompactFlash Storage Card Product Line for OEM Customers
IRVINE, Calif., Aug. 10 /-- Netlist, Inc. (NASDAQ:NLST), a leading supplier of highly customized memory subsystem solutions to the server, high performance computing and telecommunications markets, today announced the release of its Industrial Grade CompactFlash (CF) Storage Card product line available in densities of 64MB to 8GB of nonvolatile storage. The Netlist Industrial Grade CompactFlash Storage Cards will feature the latest SLC (Single Level Cell) NAND flash architecture, 32 bit RISC processor and have controlled bills of materials (BOM's). CF will be the first of several form factors for Netlist's engagement in the OEM solid state arena.
According to benchmarking tests as well as OEMs currently evaluating the cards, sustained read performance could increase by 10% and sustained write performance by 100% in comparison to other single-channel CF products. Netlist uses RISC technology coupled with a state of the art ECC (Error Correction Code) engine and wear-leveling algorithm resulting in these vast performance improvements.
Key features of the Netlist Industrial Grade CompactFlash Storage Cards include:
