Available in 3- and 5-wire configurations, Threaded Nipple Mount Relay Receivers mount through standard knock-out holes to junction boxes and light fixtures. Devices have UL plenum rating so they can be used in air-handling spaces. Based on EnOcean wireless protocol, which allows for self-powered, battery-free controls, relays can be configured to operate as repeaters for extended range and are available with supply voltage ratings from 24-277 Vac.

ILLUMRA Wireless Relays Now Available in Threaded Nipple Mount Enclosure
Orem, UT, - ILLUMRA, the largest supplier of self-powered, battery-free, wireless lighting and HVAC controls in North America announced the release of 8 more products to their popular wire-in relay family. The new devices mount through standard knock-out holes to junction boxes and light fixtures. Using this method allows fixture manufacturers to easily add wireless controls to their products.
"The new devices have a UL plenum rating so they can be used in air-handling spaces," said Martin Johnson, Director of Engineering, ILLUMRA. "Another benefit of the threaded nipple mount is that the relay and antenna are located outside of the wiring cavity, maximizing the transmission range."
The ILLUMRA threaded nipple mount relay receivers are available in three-wire and five-wire configurations. The three-wire relay provides a quick and easy to use and install wireless control. The five-wire relay delivers the same benefits with more flexibility during installation, can be wired in 3-way scenarios and has a larger load rating which allows the relay to also handle motors.
The new units can be configured to operate as a repeater for extended range and are available with supply voltage ratings ranging from 24VAC through 277VAC, have low phantom power, giving designers and specifiers in the commercial lighting industry more options for wireless controls than ever before.
The new devices are based on the EnOcean wireless protocol, the only wireless standard in the world that allows for zero-maintenance, self-powered, battery-free controls.
