Offered in single or double jointed versions, Metric Universal Joints are made of carbon steel, with case hardened bearing surfaces, pins, and bearing sleeves. Units with friction bearings come in bore sizes of 6-32 mm and allow for speeds up to 1,000 rpm, while joints with needle bearings range in size from 10-32 mm and are suited for applications up to 4,000 rpm. Allowable rpm is dependent on load, duration, angular deposition, and lubrication.

These universal joints are known for their precision. They offer minimal play and are long lasting. The allowable RPMs are dependent on load, duration, angular disposition, and lubrication. In ideal applications joints with friction bearings allow for RPMs up to 1,000, while those with needle bearings are designed for applications of up to 4,000 RPMs.
The universal joints are made of carbon steel, with joint bearing surfaces, pins, and bearing sleeves case hardened. Universal joints with friction bearing are available in bore sizes of 6 mm to 32 mm, while the needle bearing versions are available with bore sizes ranging from 10 mm to 32 mm.
