Greenray's New T70 TCXO Extends Options Available for Reliable, Precision Performance for Mobile, Battery-Powered Electronic Systems

Greenray Industries, Inc. has announced the availability of the T70 TCXO, the latest addition to the T70 Series of high stability, low current/power consumption reference sources.

The T70 TCXO, available from 10 to 50MHz, offers HCMOS output and 3.3V supply voltage. The Model T71 offers clipped sine wave output and 5.0V supply. Electronic frequency control (EFC) is provided for precise tuning or phase locking applications.

The T70 incorporates a rugged 5 x 7mm ceramic package and a high performance crystal from sister company Statek Corporation. The T70 offers stability to ±0.2 ppm (-40 to +85°C), g-Sensitivity of less than or equal to 2.5 x 10(-9)/g, a Phase Noise floor of -155 dBc/Hz (typ. 10 MHz), and very low current consumption to 1.9mA (typ. with clipped sine wave output). A low g-sensitivity option to less than or equal to 7 x 10(-)10/g is available.

The T70 Series TCXO has been designed to deliver reliable frequency control performance for a variety of wireless applications, and is well suited for mobile, battery-powered applications including GPS and WiMAX. The T70 TCXO stability is relatively uneffected by vibration and temperature fluctuations, making it ideal for exploration and tracking equipment applications. Shock level is available to 50,000g. (Vibration: per MIL-STD-202G, Meth 214, Cond I-F. Shock: per MIL-STD-202G, Meth 213, Cond F.)

Greenray Industries is a leading supplier of high precision, quartz-based oscillators for use in wireless, wired telephony, aerospace, military, satellite, and other communications applications. Information regarding the T70 Series TCXO and all
