March 10, 2011 - Offered in sizes 0402-2512, HVI Series is comprised of chip resistors with values to 1 GW and tolerances to 1% that are suited for high-voltage applications. Nickel barrier layer optimizes solder leach resistance, and proprietary thick film architecture allows 2512 size to withstand 3 kV continuous and 4 kV overload. Applications include power supplies, power converters, defibrillators, sensors, detectors, pacemakers, and power meters.

IMS Introduces HVI Series High Voltage Surface Mount Chip Resistors to 3kV


Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA - International Manufacturing Services, Inc. The HVI Series are offered in sizes 0402 to 2512, values to 1Gohm and tolerances to 1%.
