Vishay Intertechnology Releases Industry's First Submersible Cermet Panel Potentiometer With Full IP68 Sealing Against Deep Sea Water for Operation to 30 m (100 Feet)

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announces a new submersible cermet panel potentiometer that is the industry's first to be fully IP68 sealed against deep sea water. Featuring a stainless steel shaft and bushing, the P13SM is designed for applications where electrical parameters need to be set with an immersed potentiometer in deep sea salt water conditions up to 30 m (100 feet). The device has been tested salt corrosion proof to 960 hours.
