February 22, 2005 - INSERTAâ„¢ 4-Bolt Flange Rotational Retaining Adapters provide way to rotate flow plane 90°, allowing flow in horizontal and vertical planes. Design A provides clamp flange seal on face diameter and counter-bored thru holes from face 1 to face diameter for socket head clamping bolts. Design B has plain clamp face for applications that require this geometry. All adapters offer design options for multiplaner SAE Code 61 and Code 62 fluid flow systems.

INSERTAâ„¢ 90° 4-Bolt FLANGE ROTATIONAL RETAINING Adapters provide a way to rotate the flow plane 90° thus allowing flow in both horizontal and vertical planes which gives the designer more options in assembling SAE Code 61 and Code 62 flow systems.
Design A, the most commonly used adapter, provides a clamp flange seal on face Ø and counter bored thru holes from face 1 to face Ø for use with socket head clamping bolts. The flange port is rotated 90° on face 1. The Design B adapter has a plain clamp face for those special applications that require this unique geometry. Together these 90° Flange Rotational Retaining Adapters offer the flexibility in designing and assembling multiplaner SAE Code 61 and Code 62 fluid flow systems. All 90° Flange Rotational Retaining Adapters are made of steel as standard. Custom adapters and adapters made from other materials can also be provided if the customer’s design requires it.
