IMAGINE Software Introduces IMAGINE Conduit for ICD-9/ICD-10 Transition

CHARLOTTE, NC – IMAGINE Software, a leading provider of medical billing solutions, introduces IMAGINE Conduit, a new standalone application to assist with the ICD-9/ICD-10 transition.

Designed to help prepare users for the scheduled October 1, 2014 switch to ICD-10 diagnosis codes, IMAGINE Conduit provides a crosswalk for converting electronic 837 claim files that utilize current ICD-9 codes to 837 claim files that utilize new ICD-10 codes.

"IMAGINE Conduit is the answer for administrators who want to give their coders a head start on ICD-10," stated Sam Khashman, President & CEO of IMAGINE Software.  "Conduit will help users successfully maneuver the upcoming ICD-9/ICD-10 conversion and allow practices with older technology to make the switch.  The Conduit application connects both sides of this transition in a way that is easy to execute and learn from, ultimately taking an ICD-9 HCFA and adapting it to an ICD-10 HCFA, while providing a concrete method for predicting ICD-10 impact on their business.”

IMAGINE Conduit is built as a standalone application that can be run independently of an existing IMAGINE billing system or as a complementary application along with other IMAGINE billing tools.  It currently supports 837 Professional claim files using the 5010 format, and future upgrades will include 837 Institutional claim file formatting as well.  The functionality will be available within the IMAGINE billing system at no charge to existing IMAGINE clients.
