October 14, 2004 - IAPMO approved Pit Plus™ systems come pre-assembled with 9S and 10S series sewage pumps, 16-bolt steel cover, 2 in. schedule 80 PVC discharge pipe, and check valve. Corrosion-resistant, bolt-on flange, 2-piece structural foam cover, available on 9 models, facilitates access to pump. Roto-molded polyethylene basin has circumferential ribs, external inlet hub, and anti-torque pump stops. Other equipment includes pump on/off switch and optional indoor/outdoor alarm system.

Little Giant® Improves Popular Pit Plus™ Sewage Systems
OKLAHOMA CITY – Little Giant® Pump Company has introduced new versions of its popular Pit Plus™ sewage systems. IAPMO approved Pit PlusTM sewage removal systems are pre-assembled with Little Giant® high performance 9S and 10S series sewage pumps. The systems are equipped with a 16-bolt steel cover, a 2” schedule 80 PVC discharge pipe and check valve.
In addition, nine new pre-packaged and pre-assembled models of the Pit Plus™ are now available with a corrosion-resistant, bolt-on flange, two-piece structural foam cover. The new two-piece lid allows for easy access to the pump. The split cover erases the need to remove the vent pipe when pulling the pump from the basin unit.
The Pit Plus™ large capacity roto-molded polyethylene basin has circumferential ribs for increased structural strength, external inlet hub that has been molded into the unit and anti-torque pump stops. The basin also has a 360° molded handle for easy handling during installation.
Other equipment on the Pit Plus™ removal systems includes a pump on/off switch and optional indoor/outdoor alarm systems. The alarms include mechanical float switches and are equipped with a red warning light, horn and silence switch.
