Automated Packaging Systems Introduces New Stand-up Pouches for SidePouch® Bagging Systems
STREETSBORO, OH — Automated Packaging Systems has introduced new Stand-up Pouches for its SidePouch® FAS SPrint Revolution™ Bagging System for a packaging solution that is truly unique in the industry.
New SidePouch Stand-up Pouches are available in sizes from 4 to12 inches wide and 5 to 16.75 inches long. Gussets are 2 to 8 inches wide in one inch increments. These pouches can be pre-printed in up to ten colors and are laminated for gloss, stiffness and excellent tear properties.
The FAS SPrint Revolution requires no special tooling to switch bag and pouch sizes and formats, and changeovers can be achieved in less than five minutes. This versatile system operates at speeds up to 900 inches per minute in semi- or fully-automatic modes. For fragile, short run, or new products where the volume is unknown, up to three operators can hand-load simultaneously, eliminating the need to purchase expensive infeed devices. The small footprint frees-up valuable warehouse space. An open design makes cleaning easy, keeping the system more sanitary than other Stand-up Pouch systems.
