Tool has minimum cutting radius of 3/16 in. and produces 3,000 no-load strokes per minute. Metal strip on top of body serves as rest when tool is not in use. Compact Nibbler From Metabo Offers Omni-Directional Operation
West Chester, PA, November 2005 -- Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, now offers a compact nibbler that can pivot 360° during operation. The Kn 6875 14-Gauge Nibbler is ideal for cutting all types of sheet metal without deformation and for punching plastics in a variety of applications, including sign manufacturing, sunroof installation, as well as frame and cabinet manufacturing.
The Kn 6875 is easily operated with just one hand, and a metal strip on top of the body serves as a rest when the tool is not in use. The punch is guided concentrically around the die, which creates a very close fit, ensuring high quality cuts and a long service life.
The nibbler offers a maximum torque of 53 in.-lbs. and a capacity of 14 GA (0.075") in mild steel and 16 GA (0.060") in mild stainless steel. The 5.2 amp Kn 6875 has a minimum cutting radius of 3/16" and 3,000 no-load strokes per minute (SPM). The tool weighs 4.9 lbs. and measures 11".
